Today is the Bar Mitzvah where Elliot will be called to the Torah surrounded by friends and family.

Services begin at 10:30 am in Smith Auditorium and will last until noon or a little after. Elliot will help to lead the service and will read from the Torah.

There will be a little nosh after the service in Smith Auditorium but lunch will be on your own.

Torah Portion: Genesis 25:19-28:9

Toldot (“Generations”) opens with the births of Isaac and Rebecca’s twins, Jacob and Esau. Esau sells his birthright to Jacob in exchange for soup. Isaac and Rebecca travel to Gerar, where Isaac makes a peace treaty with King Abimelech. Isaac gives Jacob the blessing meant for Esau, and Jacob runs away to his uncle Laban.

Saturday Night’s Party will be held at Hop Squad Brewing Co. located at 2307 Kramer Lane, just a few minutes from the hotel.

The event will start at 6pm and go until 10pm. Dinner & dessert will be served and we will dance along with the DJ and celebrate.
